Nintendo is already making good use of the Nintendo Today! app they released yesterday. They have confirmed a release date for the upcoming live action Zelda movie. It'll come to the silver screen in two years on March 26, 2027. There was no further footage or details about the film shown, so we'll have to wait a little longer to no much about it. Perhaps the biggest surprise in today's Nintendo Direct was the announcement of a new Tomodachi Life game. Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream is a follow up to the cult classic Tomodachi Life on 3DS. It's a goofy game that has you watching your Mii characters live on an island and get into all sorts of predicaments. As part of today's Nintendo Direct, we got a new gameplay trailer for the upcoming Metroid Prime 4: Beyond. It showed that Samus will find and use new Psychic Abilities, a slight departure from the typical suit upgrades that she relies on. Pokemon Legends: Z-A got a new trailer in today's Nintendo Direct. The main new reveal was the Z-A Royale tournament. This happens nightly in Lumiose City and will have you battling trainers to climb from Rank Z all the way to Rank A.
