On the official Zelda Twitter, Nintendo has posted the screenshot you see of Tri Force Heroes above. It depicts 4 areas of the game and 4 stages per area. In the Tweet text - roughly translated - it confirms that there will be 8 areas in the game and each will have 4 stages. That makes for 32 stages total. This does not include any unknown stages and only covers what we know so far.

Toon Link - who debuted in The Wind Waker HD - has been announced as a playable character in Hyrule Warriors Legends according to a recent Famitsu leak. He will not be featured in Legend Mode, but will be available for use in the other modes of the game. The game will be playable at the Tokyo Game Show next week and we should have confirmation before that time if this leak is real or not.

In a July interview with Eurogamer, Pikmin developer and legendary game designer Shigeru Miyamoto revealed that the next Pikmin game is well into development. Nintendo has recently opened the Japanese teaser site for Tri Force Heroes. It prominently features a new trailer at the top of the site.
