Breath of Wild has been shown running on the Nintendo Switch previously, but we got another glimpse at it from Jimmy Fallon playing it on The Tonight Tonight. There are not a lot of new features shown or much we haven't already known about; however, it is nice getting to see the Nintendo Switch in action. Be sure to check out the video below...

Nintendo just revealed the Nintendo NX, which is officially named the Nintendo Switch. As you can see - this confirms the hybrid style system. Breath of the Wild was shown running on the system at the start of the debut, which can be seen below. The console is set to launch in 2017. For more information, check out the press release below...

I had the opportunity to play The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword at E3 in 2010. I remember being amazed with the motion controls and the new take on combat — I went back and played the demo a few times (there wasn’t a three hour line for this one). Nintendo has recapped some of the announcements they made today in a recent press release. Breath of the Wild will feature 100 or more Shrines of Trials, different Runes, different types of climate that has a lasting effect on Link, ability to craft food, and more. Nintendo recently gave Zelda Wii U a new name. That name is Breath of the Wild and, in my opinion, reflects on the atmosphere of the game. They said it will break the "boundaries for the franchise and for games as whole." The game is set to launch in 2017 and we will be bringing you coverage of the game until launch and beyond.
