Version 2.0 of Tri Force Heroes launched recently and we now have Version 2.1.0 as well. It includes a lot less than the previous version; however, there is a good addition by the name of Hero Points. This version also includes:

Tri Force Heroes launched several weeks ago around the world. The game features 3 player co-op and online multiplayer. It includes various features, but the game itself was never too challenging. Version 2.0 of the game launched today and added the Den of Trials. This is a 30 stage area that is said to be challenging. Other updates include:

Tri Force Heroes has recently launched for the Nintendo 3DS and our walkthrough is underway. Nintendo released a demo to randomly selected people a couple weeks ahead of the full launch and now they are releasing the demo for free on the eShop in North America. Tri Force Heroes launches at midnight EST in North America on the Nintendo eShop and possibly other places. We will be updating our walkthrough over the coming days as we complete the game. While you wait, check out the press release sent out by Nintendo earlier today...

Eiji Aonuma has been showing off Tri Force Heroes in various forms lately. The latest is a video on the Nintendo UK 3DS YouTube channel that shows off how the game came to be, various story elements, and gameplay mechanics. Tri Force Heroes focuses on the multiplayer aspect and that is even present in the single player mode due to having to control 3 characters to traverse the puzzles. The game was built around multiplayer and the single player is just an added touch. You play as a single Link at a time and switch between them when needed. We already saw the Japanese commercials for Tri Force Heroes. They showed off a bit of gameplay, but did you see those humorous actors? You can now see the North American commercial for the game. We know that Tri Force Heroes will feature several costumes that have to be obtained through using specific materials or other actions. Coming from an interview with 4Gamer, we have information concerning a special costume that can only be created using an item called "proof of friendship" that can only be obtained via local multiplayer with friends.
