Update: We now know that the game will be launching in Europe on October 23, 2015 as well. Nintendo of America recently announced the release date for Tri Force Heroes to be October 23, 2015. We recently reported about Tri Force Heroes and the placement on the Zelda timeline. Well, in the same interview with Game Informer - it was mentioned that Tri Force Heroes will not feature costumes based on Mario or any other franchise. We recently reported that Tri Force Heroes is not in the Zelda timeline; however, we now have reports of uncertainty in the matter. Nintendo's Hiromasa Shikata - in an interview with Game Informer - said that Zelda has "three parallel worlds" and he "can't say which one it's in at this point." All sorts of information about Tri Force Heroes has been revealed in the last several days - including the reason for no female characters - from director Hiromasa Shikata. Tri Force Heroes is launching for Nintendo 3DS later this year and brings a multiplayer experience. Tri Force Heroes was announced last week for the Nintendo 3DS. We knew that the game would not have 2 player co-op amongst other things. We knew about the game not taking place in the world of Hryule, but where would it be on the Zelda timeline? According to Julie Gagnon of Nintendo - Tri Force Heroes is not in the timeline.

In a recent interview with Game Informer, Tri Force Heroes director Hiromasa Shikata spoke about a few details regarding the game. It takes place in a world that is not Hyrule and they have not placed it within the Zelda timeline yet. Tri Force Heroes was announced yesterday and we have posted both artwork and screenshots from the game. We also now have some footage we recorded on the E3 2015 show room floor of the game demo. We have several short clips and are aiming to get longer clips if time permitting. Be sure to check out all of our footage below.
