Nintendo Switch Online Game Boy Advance Games

The latest Nintendo Direct brings some good news for Nintendo Switch Online members. Two new consoles are being added to the service: the Game Boy and the Game Boy Advance. Just like the currently available NES, SNES, N64, and Genesis games, the Game Boy and GBA will have a selection of games available to be emulated on the service. There will be 9 Game Boy and 6 Game Boy Advance games to start, with more to be added in the future.

There are seperate apps that you can download for each Nintendo Switch Online console. Once you download the apps from the eShop you'll be able to play any of the games that are available in that console's library. They are emulated versions of the original games but have some new features like "suspend points" (save states) and screen filters. Some games will also feature both local and online multiplayer.
