We should all know by now that Zelda Wii U will have a vast world. Well, in a recent interview - Aonuma was questioned for more information. He said the world is "as large ... as can be realised with the hardware." Aonuma goes on to say that "the hardware has progressed to the point" so that the player can now "explore this vast world seamlessly." Check out the full quote after the break...

In a recent interview, Shigeru Miyamoto talked a little about Zelda Wii U. He mentioned wanting to "go back" to the "open-world concept" of the original Zelda games. They took that idea and designed the game around it. Miyamoto hinted at a system similar to the one in Skyward Sword that made the environment change as you did certain things in game. The largest retail chain in Japan - Tsutaya - has announced that Hyrule Warriors has shown strong sales over the Obon Season, which is a 3 day festival. The Wii U software sales have increased to nearly four times that of last year. While we have no confirmed number, this is still a great sign for the game. While answering a question on Zelda Wii U - Shigeru Miyamoto mentioned having new ideas for Nintendo 3DS that have yet to be announced. We got A Link Between Worlds last year so another game on the 3DS so soon sounds a bit far fetched; however, this is Nintendo and they are known to mix things up at a moments notice.

During the recent shareholders meeting, Nintendo exectutives answered various questions. During the Q&A - Shigeru Miyamoto was asked about when new information concerning Zelda Wii U would be shown. He said that no information can be given now and that the team was hard at work creating a vast and open world that players would be able to sit down and explore daily.
