GenGAME has recently released information that previous sales figures do not influence Eiji Aonuma's direction when creating new Zelda games. Eiji Aonuma has talked about changing the conventions of Zelda for a while now. When asked recently by Kotaku about the types of puzzles in Zelda Wii U - he said, "I think people come to just assume that puzzle-solving will exist in a Zelda game, and I kinda wanna change that." Contrary to popular belief that Link was not in the Zelda Wii U reveal - Eiji Aonuma has come out saying it "was Link." Aonuma goes on to say: "Actually that comment I made jokingly," he said. "It's not that I said that it wasn't Link. It's that I never said that it was Link. It's not really the same thing, but I can understand how it could be taken that way." Eiji Aonuma went to Miiverse to post about both Hyrule Warriors and Zelda Wii U. The biggest revelation is that the Zelda Wii U reveal trailer was "actual gameplay on Wii U." Who is in the screenshot above? Many will say it is Link but Aonuma recently stated: No one explicitly said that that was Link. So if it isn't Link then who can it be? Only time will tell - in other news, check out some new screenshots of Zelda Wii U and some screenshots of Hyrule Warriors as well.

Nintendo just showed a first glimpse of Zelda for Wii U. It will feature a large overworld map that is very vast. With all of the latest Hyrule Warriors news came a question posted to the official Twitter account for the game - the question? "Will there be a Wii U Bundle in Japan?" The answer being that no plans are on the horizon for such a bundle; however, they recommended getting the Mario Kart 8 Wii U bundle. In a recent document surfacing from Nintendo's recent financial presentaion - it has been listed that Hyrule Warriors, the game that merges Zelda and Dynasty Warriors, is set for a 2014 release. During this mornings Nintendo Direct - Nintendo announced Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Warrios for Wii U; however, this will not be Nintendo's new installment in the Zelda franchise. Nintendo has recently expanded their partnership with Norwegian Cruise Line to bring Wii U consoles to ships. Among the first games scheduled to roll out are The Wind Waker HD alongside Super Mario 3D World, New Super Luigi U, Pikmin 3, and The Wonderful 101.
