In a recent interview with IGN - we learned about a feature in Zelda Wii U being the use of the Wii U GamePad for the means of transportation similar to The Wind Waker HD where the GamePad acts like a GPS for the player to know where they are going. According to a post on Vooks - Nintendo Australia has no plans to release either the Wind Waker Wii U Bundle or the Wind Waker Limited Edition in Australia and New Zealand. On the other hand - Australia will get the regular edition on October 5. For those unaware - The Wind Waker HD features revamped graphics and a Hero Mode amongst other things.

A Target employee reported to Destructoid an image of the inventory tracking system where a bundle for The Wind Waker HD and the Wii U Deluxe 32 GB console were present as seen in the shot above. The Wind Waker HD Wii U bundle will retail for $349.99 and no launch date has been released or official word of the bundles existence. Just moments ago during the latest Nintendo Direct, Eiji Aonuma revealed an HD remake for Wind Waker coming to the Nintendo Wii U. According to the video - the game is coming out in the fall.

In a recent Iwata Asks interview, it was mentions that the Zelda team has seen Monster Hunter 3's graphics and was feeling some competition to make a more realistic feel for the next installment of Zelda for the Wii. So should Miyamoto order a revamping of the games graphics, we should expect a delay for the game of up to around a year at least. Comment on our forums!
